Our mounted Type-CT 20B chain guide is manufactured to high precision tolerances and conforms to ISO and DIN 8187 standards, thus guiding 20B roller chain in the most effective and productive manner possible. This chain guide is a mounted style meaning that it uses a steel mounting channel, specifically the Type-CT 20B chain guide uses a C5 profile. We keep C5 profile mounting channels in stock in galvanized, non galvanized, and stainless steel materials. Using a roller chain guide is common in most conveying applications where you don’t want metal-on-metal contact for wear purposes. Not only does using a chain guide drastically increase the wear life of a roller chain, but it also reduces on noise levels in applications that have metal-on-metal contact. This guide is typically in stock as 10ft lengths but we can also supply chain guides in custom lengths upon request. Standardly this guide is in stock as a green UHMW that conforms to European guidelines but other materials are available upon request.
