Simpson Strong-Tie THASL422 Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners
- Factory skewed to 22 1/2° and may be field skewed up to 75°
- Fill all triangle holes for 22 1/2° skew installations
- Fill fastener holes in the bottom of the hanger seat
- Field-form top flange straps over the header a minimum of 2″
- For face-mount installations, install carrying member fasteners into the lowest holes
