Simpson Strong-Tie TB54 Installation Overview

1. Support floor joists with bridging at intervals not exceeding 8′.
2. Install on 2×8 or larger joists for spans greater than 8′.
3. Use more than one pair for spans greater than 16′.
4. Install bridging tightly to prevent floor movement.
5. Use two 0.148″ x 1 1/2″ fasteners per end.
