The Simpson Strong-Bolt 2 Wedge Anchor is a high-performance anchor designed for cracked and uncracked concrete. Made from 316 stainless steel, it is suitable for static and seismic loading conditions.

Simpson Strong-Tie STB2-757006SS Installation Overview

1. Drill a hole in the base material using a carbide drill bit of the same diameter as the anchor.
2. Blow the hole clean using compressed air or ensure it is deep enough to accommodate embedment depth and dust.
3. Assemble the anchor with nut and washer, place it in the fixture, and drive it into the hole.
4. Tighten the anchor to the required installation torque.

NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench to set or tighten the Strong-Bolt 2 anchor. Oversized holes in the base material will make it difficult to set the anchor and will reduce the anchor’s load capacity.
