Simpson Strong-Tie STB2-624124SS Installation Overview

1. Drill a hole in the base material using a carbide drill bit of the same diameter as the anchor.
2. Blow the hole clean using compressed air or ensure it is deep enough to accommodate dust.
3. Assemble the anchor with the nut and washer, ensuring the nut is flush with the anchor top.
4. Insert the anchor into the hole and tighten the nut to the required torque.

NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench to set or tighten the Strong-Bolt 2 anchor. Oversized holes in the base material will make it difficult to set the anchor and will reduce the anchor’s load capacity.
