Simpson ITS2.37/16 Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners and verify the header can accommodate the required fasteners.
- Refer to product-specific installation drawings.
- No joist nailing required for standard I-joist installation without web stiffeners.
- Optional triangle nail holes may be used for additional load.
- For sloped joists up to 1/4:12, there’s no reduction; from 1/4:12 up to 1/2:12, tests show a 10% reduction in ultimate hanger strength.
- Web stiffeners required for the ITS Alternate Installation when installing optional joist nails for additional uplift load.
