Simpson Strong-Tie CPS12 Installation Overview

  1. Drill a 3/4″-diameter hole, 10″ into the center of the post.
  2. Clean out sawdust and fill hole halfway with Simpson Strong-Tie SET-3G epoxy anchoring adhesive.
  3. Insert all-thread rod while twisting the rod, and allow the epoxy to set and cure.
  4. Secure standoff to post using four 0.148″ x 3″ nails.
  5. Drill a 3/4″-diameter hole per anchor design.
  6. Clean out dust and fill hole halfway with Simpson Strong-Tie SET-3G, ET-3G or AT-3G anchoring adhesive.
  7. Insert post subassembly into hole, and allow the epoxy to set and cure.
