Premium #50 316-Grade stainless steel roller chain exemplifies superior wear, performance, and chemical abrasion resistance when compared to its standard 304SS counterpart. More specifically, 316-grade stainless steel contains a significant amount of molybdenum (2% – 3%) versus in 304-stainless steel there are only trace amounts of this compound found. The result is a 316-grade 50 stainless steel roller chain that is capable of operating in applications containing specific chemicals and environments far longer than the 304SS chain. This chain is also the least-magnetic 50 stainless steel roller chain on the market!
